Research
SPR has extensive experience in a wide range of management consulting applications and policy research,
including:
- Management Studies,
such as SPR’s Review of the Program Integrity
Vision, Mission and Mandate for Income Security Programs (for Human
Resources Development Canada, 1999);
- Strategic Reviews,
such as SPR's Strategic Review of Youth Exchange
Programs (for Canadian Heritage, 1998);
- Organizational Reviews,
such as SPR's Review of Ontario's Twelve
Occupational Health and Safety Organizations (for the Ontario Workplace
Health and Safety Agency, 1991); and
- Database Development and Analysis,
such as SPR's
work in development of a training program database for Ontario's occupational health and safety programs;
and SPR's development and utilization of a database for sports injuries (for the Ontario Ministry of Tourism
and Recreation).
SPR's studies often combine a wide range of methods in sub-studies -- for example, a literature review --
coordinated with, or followed by, focus groups, surveys and database analyses.
